Our Camp Shorts M90K Desert are a unique TAC-UP GEAR design combining the practical features of classic field trousers with the comfort and freedom of movement of a pair of shorts.

Made in the distinctive Swedish M90K Desert camouflage, these shorts are designed for hot-weather environments, camp life and outdoor activities where full-length field trousers can simply be too warm.

With 8 practical pockets, strong belt loops, adjustable leg openings and several field-inspired details, they retain the functionality of combat trousers while offering a much cooler and more relaxed alternative.

Field Trouser Functionality in a Shorts Design

These are not ordinary cargo shorts.

The Camp Shorts M90K Desert were designed with many of the practical features normally found on field trousers, making them particularly useful when working or operating in warm environments.

The generous pocket configuration provides plenty of space for everyday equipment, while the 7 belt loops help keep the shorts securely positioned even when carrying heavier belt-mounted accessories.

The leg openings can also be adjusted using snap buttons, allowing you to choose between a more relaxed or closer fit.

M90K Desert Camouflage

The shorts feature the distinctive Swedish M90K Desert splinter camouflage, giving them a unique Scandinavian military appearance.

The camouflage print is anti-IR treated, adding another technical feature to this specialised garment.

The smooth 85% cotton / 15% polyester ripstop fabric provides a comfortable feel while offering the durability expected from field-oriented clothing.

Adjustable Leg Opening

The lower leg section features snap-button adjustment so you can alter the opening according to your preference.

Wear them with a wider, more relaxed opening for maximum airflow, or tighten the opening slightly for a closer fit.

The shorts also include pre-made openings where you can add elastic cord and cord locks according to your own preference.

Sizing

Use your favourite pair of shorts as a reference when selecting your size, as sizing can vary between brands and garments.

The fabric will stretch slightly during use and retract somewhat after washing.

If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

Permethrin Insect Treatment*

The fabric is factory-treated with Permethrin to help reduce the risk of biting insects such as mosquitoes and ticks.

The treatment is designed to remain effective after approximately 70 washes at 20–25°C. When washed at 60°C, the effect is expected to remain for approximately 10–20 washes.

Permethrin treatment is commonly used in outdoor equipment and insect-protective clothing.

Important Information

Permethrin is toxic to cats and fish/aquatic environments. Keep treated clothing away from cats and do not allow contaminated wash water to enter natural water sources.

For environmental reasons, professional cleaning is recommended where possible to help minimise the release of Permethrin into wastewater.

These shorts were originally designed for use in environments where biting insects and insect-borne diseases can be a concern. Please use and care for the garment responsibly according to the treatment and washing instructions.
